aespa's Winter Undergoes Pneumothorax Surgery, Schedule Adjustments Made

Group aespa's Winter recently underwent pneumothorax surgery and will be unable to fulfill her schedule for the time being.

"Winter has recently undergone pneumothorax surgery and is recovering," her agency SM Entertainment said on Wednesday, adding that the group's upcoming schedule will be prioritizing her recovery.

The agency explained, "As (pneumothorax) is a disease that is prone to recurrence, it is a preemptive measure taken in accordance with the medical team's opinion, and the decision (to undergo surgery) was made after ample discussion."

aespa is preparing to make a comeback next month, with a second world tour scheduled for June in Seoul.
