BTS Jin's 'Super Tuna' Smashes Records: Hits 100 Million Streams on Spotify

"Super Tuna" surpassed 100 million streams on April 14 on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.

 

"Super Tuna" is a self-composed song written by BTS' Jin, who is an avid fisherman, who released the song on December 4, 2021, to celebrate his birthday, hoping that fans would laugh and enjoy the song to their hearts' content.

Originally only available on SoundCloud and YouTube, Jin's "Super Tuna" was officially released on all streaming platforms in October 2022 and is still going strong today.

 

After reaching 100 million streams on Spotify, "Super Tuna" continues to climb the ranks, surpassing 155 million streams as of the morning of April 16th.

 

The song has also reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Song chart in 39 countries, including Lithuania, Finland, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

BTS Jin's "Super Tuna" special performance video has been the No. 1 most-watched video music on YouTube for 16 consecutive days, surpassing PSY's record for the longest streak by a K-pop solo artist.

 

As of the morning of April 16, the "Super Tuna" special performance video has more than 94 million YouTube views and is on track to reach the 100 million-view milestone.
