"Closer Than This" was a surprise fan song released after Jimin enlisted in the army last December, and has since garnered more than 120 million streams on Spotify, more than 20 million views on the official music video, and more than 120,000 searches on global music search site Shazam. It has also been a hit on music sales and music streaming services around the world.

BTS' Jimin has surpassed his own record once again by becoming the first and only artist in the world to have three songs topping all charts on iTunes, with "Like Crazy," the title track of his first solo album FACE, and "With You," the OST for the tvN drama "Our Blues," reaching No. 1 worldwide, and "Closer Than This" reaching No. 1 in more than 120 countries.

Jimin is also the first solo artist in iTunes history to have seven #1 songs in more than 100 countries and territories, making him a leading force in K-pop.
